Jake Wyatt

In his presentation, Jake talked about what’s doing best for the story. Like in “making comics” when they emphasized clarity vs. intensity. Just following templates you pull from someone else won’t help make your story better. If you don’t really think about what your trying to say, if you try to do what’s “cool” just because, your story telling is going to suffer.

Comics have their own language. They have different limitations and benefits than say, movies or novels. It takes practice to learn how to use them
