Making Comics - Hellboy
In Hellboy a lot of Subject to Subject, action to action, and scene to scene panels are used to keep the story moving forward quickly. This page is one of many examples of that. The page consists of mainly Subject to subject panels as the history is being explained and then jumps to scene to scene panels at the end. This page is a great example of how to clearly communicate a lot of necessary information in a comic book without taking up too many pages or taking up too much time. This is discussed mainly on pages 16 and 17 of making comics.
